Author’s profile
Thomas Gerstmann was born in Krefeld, Germany. After his A-levels he worked in several hotels in Germany, England and Switzerland. He also worked as a steward on a cruise ship and got to explore the rest of the world as a flight attendant. At the age of 32, he moved to Japan where he taught German as a foreign language for over 17 years. At the beginning he worked in various language schools and later he organized his own classes. For the last few years he has been living with his family as an independent German teacher in Düsseldorf. At the end of 2015, his first book "Verliebt in Tim" was released from the series Easy German Grammar Stories. Using these books, he would like to pass on his experience and combine reading pleasure with effective grammar explanations. His books and the additional material on his website provide solid tools for successful German language acquisition. All skills can be learned by the reader: listening, reading, writing, speaking, knowledge of the grammar and vocabulary.
